My new figure skating romance is out now! I was inspired to write Henry and Theo’s story after the last world championships in Stockholm in March 2021. It was so wonderful to see a full competition again (even if there was no audience). Their romance ate my brain and demanded to be written. I hope you enjoy it!

I’m so excited that my gay fantasy series is coming Oct 21! I started writing the first book in April 2020 in lockdown. I needed to escape to a completely fictional world, and I created this Viking-ish hero and a virginal young prince from a summery land forced into marriage. Jem and Cador’s story is fantasy, but there’s no magic or dragons, etc.
I only intended their journey to be one book, but this tale took on a life of its own! After a year and a half of work, I’m thrilled to finally be sharing these books with you. I hope you love reading Jem and Cador’s opposites-attract romance as much as I loved writing it! You can pre-order now or borrow in KU very soon!
The 15th-anniversary edition of my very first book, Love Match, is here!
No, you don’t need to check your eyes. I said 15 years! My very first book was published by Loose Id in 2006. Borat was a box office hit, George Clooney and Angelina Jolie were deemed the sexiest people alive, and a new social media site called Facebook opened registration to the general public.
Aside from my old publisher, those things are still around, so it doesn’t actually seem so long ago. But Instagram and Twitter didn’t even exist, and Netflix was mailing actual DVDs to your house. The times, they have changed! It honestly blows my mind that I’ve been publishing for that long, and it’s wonderful to finally get my first book back on the shelves.
I’d initially planned on revising this story after the rights reverted to me. But I discovered when I sat down to re-read it that I like it just the way it is–dated technology and all! In regards to homophobia in sports and society, there really has been significant progress as well. It was so interesting to see that more has changed than I expected!
Luke and Jesse’s angsty coming-out journey to their HEA was vital in achieving my dream career as a romance author. I still hear from readers who love this book, and I hope you do too!

A nice boy gets naughty…
Redheaded freshman Jeremy “Cherry” Rourke is certainly living up to his childhood nickname, although still being inexperienced is the least of his concerns. After coming out, his parents barely talk to him. He hasn’t made any friends at university. Worst of all, he’s about to spend Christmas completely alone in an empty dorm.
Jeremy clearly needs a fairy godfather, so football captain Max Pimenta takes him under his wing to help him find his dating groove. But Jeremy’s wound way too tight. He’s too vulnerable. Max can’t trust some random guy with him. He needs to take care of Jeremy himself and introduce him to no-pressure exploration. It’s not about romance or feelings—he’s just doing the kid a favor.
Max is definitely not falling for this lonely, beautiful boy. No way.
And it’s not like he can leave Jeremy all alone for the holidays. He’ll bring him home to his family’s maple syrup farm—strictly as friends since his parents have rules. No more fooling around. No more eager, breathless fun. No more making Jeremy shiver and blush with suggestive whispers in his ear. No more sweeter-than-sugar kisses. All nice. No more naughty.
But Jeremy’s sleeping right across the hall, and Max wants him for himself. The twelve days of Christmas will last an eternity if they don’t break the rules.
Shhh. No one has to know…
Merry Cherry Christmas is a feel-good holiday MM romance from Keira Andrews featuring a nervous nerd and protective, jealous jock, forced proximity, first times, and of course a happy ending.

My figure skating romance has a new (old) title! Misha and Dev’s story was originally two novellas published through Loose Id called Cold War and Holding the Edge. I later combined them into one volume to give you more bang for your buck. To avoid confusion, I called the book The Winning Edge.
However, Cold War is frankly just a much better title that conveys the hate-to-love vibe, and I’ve gone back to it. (So much for avoiding confusion!) This will be the final title for Dev and Misha’s full story, I promise. 😀

I’ve got a new re-release! The title and cover for Road to the Sun were a little too dreamy and not really indicative of the actiony-suspensey vibe of the plot. Mall Santas aren’t supposed to be hot
Hunter Adams is hopelessly adrift after college. He’s still a virgin, can’t find a real job, and has no clue what to do with his life. In desperation, he returns to his humiliating old job as an elf at the Santa’s Village in his hometown’s dying mall. The Santa on the job is an unexpectedly sexy lumberjack, twice Hunter’s size and age. He makes Hunter feel very naughty—too bad he’s grumpy and intimidating.
Years after the tragic death of his partner, Nick Spini has his beagle and long, hard days on his Christmas tree farm. That’s plenty. But he can’t refuse a loyal friend’s plea for help and finds himself filling in as Santa at the local mall. Despite Nick’s attempt to stay aloof, the beautiful, anxious young man playing elf brings out his long-dormant daddy instincts.
When a surprise blizzard traps them alone in Nick’s isolated forest home, their attraction burns even brighter. Will they surrender to the sizzling connection between them and find the release and comfort they crave?
Santa Daddy is a holiday gay romance from Keira Andrews featuring an age gap, steamy m/m first times, daddy role-playing and light spanking, Christmas romance feels, and of course a happy ending.

I’m delighted to share the cover for my new May-December romance, Honeymoon for One. The very talented Dar Albert made this cover, and I’m thrilled with it!
The wedding is off, but the love story is just beginning.
Betrayed the night before his wedding by the supposed boy of his dreams, Ethan Robinson escapes the devastating fallout by going on his honeymoon alone to the other side of the world. Hard of hearing and still struggling with the repercussions of being late-deafened, traveling by himself leaves him feeling painfully isolated with his raw, broken heart.
Clay Kelly never expected to be starting life over in his forties. He got hitched young, but now his wife has divorced him and remarried, his kids are grown, and he’s left his rural Outback town. In a new career driving a tour bus on Australia’s East Coast, Clay reckons he’s happy enough. He enjoys his cricket, a few beers, and a quiet life. If he’s a bit lonely, it’s not the end of the world.
Clay befriends Ethan, hoping he can cheer up the sad-eyed young man, and a crush on an unattainable straight guy is exactly the safe distraction Ethan needs. Yet as the days pass and their connection grows, long-repressed desires surface in Clay, and they are shocked to discover romance sparking. Clay is the sexy, rugged man of Ethan’s dreams, and as the clock counts down on their time together, neither wants this honeymoon to end.
Honeymoon for One is a gay romance by Keira Andrews featuring a May-December age difference, a slow burn of newfound friends to lovers, first-time m/m sex, and of course a happy ending.
Coming Thursday, September 27th!

I’m super excited to reveal the cover for my new romance! This is the sequel to Valor on the Move and the conclusion of Rafa and Shane’s story. It will be available exclusively at Amazon on Thursday, April 26. Here’s the cover by the talented Dar Albert:
They’re free of the White House, but can their forbidden romance survive in the real world?
With his father no longer president, twenty-two-year-old Rafa Castillo can finally be with ex-Secret Service agent Shane Kendrick. Shane’s given up his career for Rafa, a move his fellow agents question the sanity and morality of. Eager to get away from the questions and judgement, Rafa and Shane are building a new life together in Australia. Though Shane struggles with nightmares and his over-protective instincts while Rafa fights his own insecurity, they love each other more than ever.
Now they just have to get through a visit from the former president and first lady.
Rafa’s parents certainly don’t approve of his romance with forty-year-old Shane, and they’re determined to make him see reason. They don’t see how their son could possibly be happy settling down with an older man, and they question Shane’s motives. Shane and Rafa just want a normal life together—but when they must suddenly battle for survival, they fight to prove their fierce love can withstand any threat.
This gay romance from Keira Andrews is the conclusion of the Valor duology. It features a May-December age difference, sex on the beach, and of course a happy ending.

I’m delighted to re-release my historical adventure The Station. I made some minor tweaks after getting my rights back from Loose Id, and since this story will be new to most of you, I hope you enjoy it! The Australian Outback is a starkly beautiful place, and it was a real pleasure to imagine just how wild and new it would have been in the 1800s. Thanks to Dar Albert for the gorgeous new cover!
Two men exiled to an untamed land must capture love.
Ever since Cambridge-bound Colin Lancaster spied on stable master Patrick Callahan mastering another man, he’s longed for Patrick to do the same to him. When Patrick is caught with his pants down and threatened with death for his crime, Colin speaks up in his defense and confesses his own sinful nature. They’re soon banished to the faraway prison colony of Australia.
Patrick never asked for Colin’s help, and now he’s stuck with the pampered fool. While it’s true that being transported to Australia is a far cry from the luxury Colin is accustomed to, he’s determined to make the best of it and prove himself. Patrick learned long ago that love is a fairy tale, but he’s inexorably drawn to sweet, optimistic Colin despite himself.
From the miserable depths of a prison ship to the vast, untamed Australian outback, Colin and Patrick must rely on each other. Danger lurks everywhere, and when they unexpectedly get the chance to escape to a new life as cowboys, they’ll need each other more than ever.
This historical gay romance from Keira Andrews features an age difference, an eager virgin, hurt/comfort, and of course a happy ending.

As 2017 draws to a close, I’m reflecting back and peering at the road forward and my writing plans for 2018. Lots of exciting projects are in the works!
This past year started slowly for me with publishing, largely because I was lucky enough to take a six-week trip through Australia with my mom. It was absolutely a dream come true. My dad had always wanted to visit Australia and never did in the end, and I’m so grateful to have shared the experience with my mom. I backpacked through Oz twenty years ago, and it was lovely to revisit some places and explore new ones.
I published a single father/kidnapping adventure, Road to the Sun, in May, republished my spy caper, The Chimera Affair, in June, and spent the summer writing, writing, writing. The last part of 2017 really ramped up after I published Kidnapped by the Pirate at the end of October.
I never know how a book will be received, and historicals tend not to sell as well as contemporary. Yet this book exceeded all my expectations, which has been a real treat. I grew up on bodice-rippers, and it was such a pleasure to write a breeches-ripper! I’m thrilled by how much readers seem to have enjoyed the story.
In November and December, I published two holiday romances, In Case of Emergency, and Eight Nights in December, which was a reworking of two old stories. I was lucky enough to have Emergency go to #1 on Amazon’s gay romance charts, which was a milestone for me and a wonderful way to close out the year. I also added a few new translations to my growing collection.
Coming down the road in 2018
You know what they say about the best-laid plans, but I’m knocking on wood that everything on my list will go smoothly! Thank you so much for your support, and here’s to an outstanding 2018. Wishing you health and happiness on the road ahead. <3
p.s. I’d hoped to write a fourth novel for my Amish boys, Isaac and David, this year. It looks like it’ll be 2019, but it’s still very much on my to-do list!
Hello friends! I’m super excited to share the cover for my new pirate romance! I asked Dar Albert to create a cover that captured the bodice-ripper vibe from the classic romances I loved in my teens. (Virginia Henley, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, Johanna Lindsey, etc.) I think she nailed it! 😀
I loved writing this book. I wanted to hit all the classic tropes: alpha pirate, virgin captive, age difference, and hate to love. Of course there is also swashbuckling and a happily ever after! I hope you’ll enjoy it.
Will a virgin captive surrender to this pirate’s sinful touch?
Nathaniel Bainbridge is used to hiding, whether it’s concealing his struggles with reading or his forbidden desire for men. Under the thumb of his controlling father, the governor of Primrose Isle, he’s sailing to the fledging colony, where he’ll surrender to a respectable marriage for his family’s financial gain. Then pirates strike and he’s kidnapped for ransom by the Sea Hawk, a legendary villain of the New World.
Bitter and jaded, Hawk harbors futile dreams of leaving the sea for a quiet life, but men like him don’t deserve peace. He has a score to settle with Nathaniel’s father—the very man whose treachery forced him into piracy—and he’s sure Nathaniel is just as contemptible.
Yet as days pass in close quarters, Nathaniel’s feisty spirit and alluring innocence beguile and bewitch. Although Hawk knows he must keep his distance, the desire to teach Nathaniel the pleasure men can share grows uncontrollable. It’s not as though Hawk would ever feel anything for him besides lust…
Nathaniel realizes the fearsome Sea Hawk’s reputation is largely invented, and he sees the lonely man beneath the myth, willingly surrendering to his captor body and soul. As a pirate’s prisoner, he is finally free to be his true self. The crew has been promised the ransom Nathaniel will bring, yet as danger mounts and the time nears to give him up, Hawk’s biggest battle could be with his own heart.

Hello! Delighted to announce that my new M/M romance is now available! This one features an age gap, which is one of my favourite romance tropes. To me, “May-December” is simply shorthand for a significant age difference. I’ve also seen the term “May-September,” which is probably more accurate in representing the actual age gaps, but I tend to use May-December as a catch-all. Whatever you want to call it, this book features a lonely (and hunky) older park ranger and a young single father who discovers his sexuality.
I’m excited to bring you Jason and Ben’s story, and I hope you enjoy it! It’s available exclusively at Amazon for three months to buy or borrow via Kindle Unlimited.
A desperate father. A lonely ranger. Unexpected love that can’t be denied.
Jason Kellerman’s life revolves around his eight-year-old daughter. Teenage curiosity with his best friend led to Maggie’s birth, her mother tragically dying soon after. Insistent on raising his daughter himself, he was disowned by his wealthy family and has worked tirelessly to support Maggie—even bringing her west on a dream vacation. Only twenty-five, Jason hasn’t had time to even think about romance. So the last thing he expects is to question his sexuality after meeting an undeniably attractive park ranger.
Ben Hettler’s stuck. He loves working in the wild under Montana’s big sky, but at forty-one, his love life is non-existent, his ex-boyfriend just married and adopted, and Ben’s own dream of fatherhood feels impossibly out of reach. He’s attracted to Jason, but what’s the point? Besides the age difference and skittish Jason’s lack of experience, they live thousands of miles apart. Ben wants more than a meaningless fling.
Then a hunted criminal takes Maggie hostage, throwing Jason and Ben together in a desperate and dangerous search through endless miles of mountain forest. If they rescue Maggie against all odds, can they build a new family together and find a place to call home?
Road to the Sun is a May-December gay romance from Keira Andrews featuring adventure, angst, coming out, sexual discovery, and of course a happy ending.

Bonjour! I have two new French translations now available, including the third book in my Gay Amish Romance series. Merci beaucoup to my French readers for your support and enthusiasm. <3

A Very English Christmas was first published in the Wish Come True charity anthology last year, and now it’s available as a standalone. A sexy and sweet holiday romance with Isaac and David

It’s release day for my new novella! Well, re-release day, as this story was first published briefly two years ago in a military men bundle. I’ve been holding onto it because I’d really like to write more about Kin and Jack, but I just haven’t had time, and I don’t want to keep them on the shelf anymore.
I’m still hoping to write a sequel down the road, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this tale of irritation turned to attraction turned to burgeoning love. <3
When two strangers are trapped in a blizzard, heat rises.
Haunted by what he lost in Afghanistan, Captain Jack Turner is at a crossroads. While the last place he wants to go is the Arctic, at least the routine mission gets him out from behind his new desk. But he starts off on the wrong foot with the Canadian Ranger guiding him across the forbidding and dangerous land, and Jack would rather be anywhere than sharing a tent with Sergeant Kin Carsen.
The Arctic is in Kin’s blood, and he can’t seem to leave the tundra behind. He wishes he could live openly as a gay man, but the North isn’t as accepting as the rest of Canada. Although he’s lonely, he loves his responsibility as a Ranger, patrolling the vast land he knows so well. But he’s on unfamiliar ground with Jack, and when they’re stranded alone by a blizzard, unexpected desire begins to burn. Soon they’re in a struggle to survive, and all these strangers have is each other.
Note: This gay romance features emotional repression, hurt/comfort, adventure on the tundra, and love where you least expect it.

At 34, veteran catcher Jake Fitzgerald just wants to finish out his contract and retire. His team doesn’t have a prayer of making the playoffs, but who needs the stress? Jake lost his passion for the game—and life—after driving away the man he loved, and he swore he’d never risk his heart again.
Then he’s traded to a team that wants a vet behind the plate to tame their new star pitcher. Jake is shocked to find the gangly kid he once knew has grown into a gorgeous young man. But tightly wound Nico’s having trouble controlling his temper in his quest for perfection, and Jake needs to teach him patience and restraint on the mound.

Hello there! I hope you all had an amazing summer (or winter, depending on which hemisphere you’re in). Mine was very busy, and I’m delighted to say that I have a new book available!
You might be wondering if you missed some earlier news about this story, but nope, I kept this one on the downlow this summer, mostly because I was working so hard on it that I let blogging and promo and whatnot go on the backburner. I thought it would be fun to do a surprise release, and right now I feel pretty much like:
But Nico and Jake are ready for you, and I can’t wait for you to meet them. While you’re reading, I’ll be over here doing a little of this:
Reading the Signs features light BDSM, a motherlode of emotional constipation, hurt/comfort, and lots of action on and off the field. Nico and Jake’s story was such a labor of love, and I hope you’ll enjoy it!

My contemporary paranormal romance Fight the Tide is now available! In this sequel to Kick at the Darkness, Parker and Adam’s struggle to survive in a new world continues. I’m also planning a third book for Parker and Adam, and a fourth centered on a character you’ll meet in Fight the Tide. I hope you enjoy this dystopian universe as much as I do!
Adrift in a post-apocalyptic world, they only have each other. Is it enough?
A virus that turns the infected into zombie-like killers spreads through a burning world thrown into lawless chaos. Lovers Parker and Adam have escaped to the open sea when they hear a message over the airwaves from a place called Salvation Island—a supposed safe haven.
Orphaned as a child, werewolf Adam has always longed for a pack. He’s eager to investigate the island, but Parker doesn’t think for a nanosecond that the voice on the radio can be believed. He doesn’t trust anyone but Adam and is determined to keep it that way. They don’t need anyone else complicating their struggle to survive. Or do they?
Danger on the high seas can surface in a heartbeat, and if Parker and Adam aren’t careful, the current will drag them under.

I’m excited to reveal the cover and blurb for my new contemporary gay romance Fight the Tide, the sequel to Kick at the Darkness coming July 26! Thanks so much to Dar Albert for her wonderful work.

Hello friends! I’ve enrolled my contemporary desert island romance, Beyond the Sea, in Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited program for the summer so KU subscribers have a chance to borrow it. You can still also buy it from Amazon, and it’ll be back at all sellers in the fall.
I’ve been very busy holed up in the writing cave working on the sequel to Kick at the Darkness, which will be available at the end of July. More details coming very soon!
Hope your summer is off to a great start. (Or your winter if you’re Down Under!)

It seems that if you write a romance featuring Amish characters, it is automatically classified as “sweet” (i.e. no sex) and “inspirational” (i.e. Christian). During the pre-order period on Amazon, A Forbidden Rumspringa has simultaneously ranked on these bestseller lists:
Books > Gay & Lesbian > Literature & Fiction > Erotica
Books > Christian Books & Bibles > Literature & Fiction > Romance > Amish
Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Romance >Inspirational > Amish
Er, that’s quite a combination, Amazon! For the record, A Forbidden Rumsprina is not sweet or inspirational. There is explicit sex, and while religion plays a major role in Isaac and David’s lives, this isn’t a Christian romance. I suppose I might be reaching a whole new audience thanks to Amazon’s algorithms, but I hope it won’t end in backlash from unsuspecting readers. I did add a note in the blurb that there’s copious butt fucking and no authorial bible thumping (I might not have used those exact words), so we shall see. I’ve been fiddling with the keywords as well.
In a world where every detail of life—down to the width of a hat brim—is dictated by God and the all-powerful rules of the community, two men dare to imagine a different way. At 18, Isaac Byler knows little outside the strict Amish settlement of Zebulon, Minnesota, where there is no rumspringa for exploration beyond the boundaries of their insular world. Isaac knows he’ll have to officially join the church and find a wife before too long, but he yearns for something else—something he can’t name.
Dark tragedy has left carpenter David Lantz alone to support his mother and sisters, and he can’t put off joining the church any longer. But when he takes on Isaac as an apprentice, their attraction grows amid the sweat and sawdust. David shares his sinful secrets, and he and Isaac struggle to reconcile their shocking desires with their commitment to faith, family and community.
Now that they’ve found each other, are they willing to lose it all?
