I’d love to know which romance publisher is your favourite and why. It is the quality of the writing? The variety of offerings? The customer service? The site design?
Loose Id? Torquere? Ellora’s Cave? Dreamspinner? Carina? Samhain? Somewhere else?
If you had to pick just one for your favourite, which would it be?

I don’t know that I’ve bought from anywhere other than LooseID, so I don’t have a good basis for comparison, unfortunately.
I’m partial to LooseId and Ellora’s Cave, although I’ll try any other publisher as long as the story hooks me. I’ve read some Torquere books, but I admit that the generally cheap-looking, tacky covers turn me off at times. Covers are hit and miss at most places, but with Torquere there are fewer hits, in my opinion.
That said, I won’t let a bad cover stop me from buying a book if I really like the sound of it. I’m just less liable to read the blurb when the cover isn’t appealing.
Thanks so much for commenting, Tanya!
I have to agree that covers are hit and miss for the most part across publishers. Of course it’s highly subjective, and I know every publisher does its best. It’s a challenge, that’s for sure.
Oops, sorry, didn’t mean to reply to you.
No worries. Thanks, Rhi!
